The activities organized by the community center are part of ACHIM’s overall mission. The choice of activities is the result of consultations with members of the community center. Through this consultation process, we have been able to target the needs and interests of the people we reach. We are a gathering place and provide a social safety net for those who participate in our activities.
Who are those activities for?
Our community activities are offered to people aged 50 and over mainly from the South-West of Montreal.
What activities do you offer?
The community center mainly offers 2 main categories of activities, namely regular programming (mainly physical activity classes, see the current programming) as well as one-off activities, which take place sporadically (pocket baseball, table games, conference, art therapy, intergenerational activities etc.) which you will find in the special activities tab.

ACHIM provides you with the Gérard-Loiselle room which can accommodate up to 200 guests, ideal for a variety of events such as parties, baptisms and many other special occasions. You can count on us to offer you a warm and welcoming environment, as well as all the support necessary to make your event a complete success.
What is included with room rental?
All the furniture necessary for your activity (tables, chairs, etc.) as well as access to wireless internet (WiFi). Also note that for your comfort, the room is air-conditioned and is also accessible for people with reduced mobility.
What are the reservation rates?
Room rental is a means of self-financing for our organization. Ask the person responsible for community activities to find out the availability and prices of the room.
